The Fowlerville District Library offers free, hands-on computer classes professionally taught by IT Services of Michigan. Registration will be limited to 5 participants and must be done in-person at the library. Must be in high school or older to attend. There is a $5 refundable deposit per class payable in cash at the time of registration.
Classes Currently Offered:
Computer Basics: This beginning class will cover a general overview of the computer, starting with how to turn it on, using the mouse and keyboard, working with Windows, and basic computer terminology.
Internet Basics: Learn about the World Wide Web, how to navigate a Web browser such as Google, and explore the library's Web site. Must have Computer Basics training or familiarity with basic mouse, keyboard, and computer functions.

Intermediate Internet: Learn more advanced Internet skills. Must have Computer Basics and Internet Basics training, or more advanced Internet skills.
Email Basics: Learn how to set up a free email account, send and read messages, and send attachments. Must have Internet Basics class or familiarity with the Internet.

Intro to Microsoft Word: Participants will get an overview of Microsoft Word 2007, create a simple document, correct spelling, adjust margins, save, print, and open files. Must have Computer Basics training or familiarity with basic computer functions.

Intro to Publisher: Learn to create flyers, poster, newsletters and more! Must have Computers Basics training or familiarity with basic computer functions.
Digital Photo Editing: Bring your digital camera, USB port plug, and flash/ thumb drive to save pictures. We'll go over saving, printing, and basic photo editing.
